Is this the proper place to forward, in my opinion, a *VERY* well thought
out comment on how OS/2 could, in the future become viri ensnared, as a result of merging efforts to make it more WIN friendly?

    Mike,

Here or in OS2 echo is fine with me.
    There isnt much activity here.
The Mod will have the final word on it.

I've been given permission to cross-post that article from the Internet Usegroup side by a gent who would like to know what Fido is all about as well.
He taught me a lot about OS/2 tools and how to use them in this article.

Or, is there a better place to post it?

    Maybe the moderator would comment...

    Thank you

As former moderator of VIRUS, VIRUS_INFO, and DIRTY_DOZEN your might see if there would be any objections to posting in there, the moderator is Kurt Wismer
and he can be reached at the Leftover Hippies BBS.

Hope this helps. Keep us posted.

We are a fine board trying to make it better.

I thought about it there, but in reality, the more I think about this, the more
it ought to be started here, for whatever. The OS2BBS game is actually maybe growing a bit again. That due TELNET and so on. In that, for example, the Net
117 HUB and so on catch all the stuff for not only OS/2,but WIN and whatever, including DOS, one of the most likely places to get odds and ends, for an OS/2 system, is curiously through the BBS!

That's how I've gotten familiar with some of the few I've seen ...

    I'm thinking ..

    Thanks.

He will now that he has a link that works!! :0

Sorry for vanishing, but my link went in the toilet and it has taken me some time to get dried off.

Dunno if my previous post went out, but stuff like this is entirely germaine to
the discussion of running a bbs on OS/2, so certainly permitted. I won't be terribly picky, really, so long as there is some veiled effort at staying within spitting distance of the topic.
