  • AT&T dialer[sic] problem

    has anyone got a text based dialer that will work with the AT&T
    network that might not have this hang built into it ??

    Well, in theory, to connect via PPP or SLIP to a dial-up IP provider one should
    be able to just use "slattach" and "ppp" directly if one wanted to. I haven't tried this myself.
