    Hi all ,

If you have browser capability, do a search on DJCPP and OS/2 at the same time.
You'll find a substantial number of pages of hits on it. I don't have the page bookmarked at the moment, but from a browser connect, you can pick the options on it via selections at the site. From there you will get to download a whole stack of archives which make up what you will need.

The stack that came in here is about 15.5 MB or so when I last did it.

From there, you run an install operation which unmangles it to your chosen directory, and it has to have EMX installed to run. There's a README.1ST file that will come in with it all which will tell you how to get started.

I had it installed, in contemplating something that might be ported from LINUX back to OS/2. However, like all these things, it took up a lot more room than 15 MB when set up. I've got a paid-for version of Watcom IIB as well as IBM's VAC++ 4 on that partition for work now, as well as DB2's developer pack. So it
went away temporarily until I knew enough about what I wanted to do for the future to decide on it's position in all this too.

If you don't have a Browser, and have only FIDO, and have TELNET, I might be able to help you that way. I could put it all up on my TELNET side of 1:117/3001 and you could pick it off that way. It all depends on your link to things, how stable it is, and so on. We move far more than 15 MB at a whack all the time over TELNET and 1:117/3001 reliably day in and day out. If you can't get help any other way, and can FREQ things by FIDO and TELNET,1:117/3001
will take FREQ requests, or send me NetMail with a name and password and I'll set you up so you can download it that way if you like.

There are about twenty ZIP archives in the package.

Sleep well; OS/2's still awake! ;)

The GCC port for OS/2 is a very good one. You can ftp it from ftp.leo.org/pub/comp/os/os2/leo/gnu/emx+gcc.
