DC: It's been months that it's been offline, maybe a year. For a
while DC: somebody else was hubbing the network, but they decided to
stop as there DC: simply was no traffic any more. SciNet is dead and
gone.
I would host it if I knew what I was doing. I have a very
fast internet connection and a spare PC that could be devoted to the
network. I been wanting to also host a few others. If I could just
get an easy Mystic install thats already set up as a turn-key host.
I would be set.

Eventually most Othernets ends up with the same people, so the same
convo, same noise-factor, there just isn't really an incentive to have most of them anymore.

MP: The second host, Deon, has not actually taken it down. There
are still a MP: few systems getting a feed from him, including
me, but the traffic is no MP: where near where it used to be. I
think Deon is using it as a testbed for MP: something, so it is
still up.
MP: Unless you are just aching to get it reconnected, I would
treat it as MP: dying and maybe not worth it.
Well, I just may look into this. Sad others just want it
to die.
