From Dennis Collins@3:770/355 to All on Thursday, November 08, 2001 09:17:00
I am working on a project for the bbs and have run into a small problem with accessing a couple of cdrom functions......

I need to read the volume label and disk serial number along with reading the VTOC also how to detect the difference between audio and data disks.

I have working proceedures that locate the first cdrom drive in the system and the number of connected drives.

    any help greatly received
    thanx in advance

Check out SWAG. It has about 12 routines for volume
labels and 3-4 on cd roms that might do. I did
a quick view and search results show that but
not sure of the content specifically.

SWAG in a web search will find the downloads or

    http://users.cybermax.net/~longshot

check out my programming page or links page for
a link to the swag site.
