The PDN will start a SCALA programming area shortly.

If you haven't noticed this interesting language yet, check out http://www.scala-lang.org/

    Take care,
    Janis

scala upgraded to info-channel, moved there programming problems to pc marked, and created there own kernel to host it, lol :)

a500 did it out of the box

I think you're thinking of some other animal <grin>..

The SCALA language was developed by Professor Martin Bodersky at EPFL, a university I think in Switzerland, but it wasn't until 2008 that it became really usable.

    Here's a description of sorts:

"The name Scala stands for "scalable language." The language is so named because it was designed to grow with the demands of its users. You can apply Scala to a wide range of programming tasks, from writing small scripts to building large systems. "

    :)

    Take care,
    Janis
