• Not In Error Log

From Daryl Stout@1:2320/33 to Digital Man on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 09:27:00
    Rob,

I looked in ERROR.LOG, and it had no indication of a user account
being deleted by the system. Besides, I would've known if I had
zapped this user, but he's done quite a bit to benefit the BBS in
recent days. His name isn't in the twit file, and I've put his IP
in the file to allow logons. I even checked the "expiration data",
and that's at "0"...so it shouldn't be deleting it for that.

why do you think it would be in the error.log? that's for errors... look in the main log where all the real meat of the system's activities are logged...

It wouldn't be in the error.log.

When was his last logon? What do you have your system's "Max inactivity" configured for?

His name isn't in the twit file, and I've put his IP
in the file to allow logons.

    What file is that?

I even checked the "expiration data",

What is expiration data? Where exactly do you find that?

Dumb question, but are you sure they are using the same user name each time they try to log on? I ask because I had someone who was changing theirs
each time and then asking why their account got deleted. In my case, they
were confused because I run more than one BBS, but I thought it would not
    hurt to ask. :)
