    Hey Rob,
I was wondering if you could answer a quick question about your tosser.
When you toss a tic file to multiple downlinks, do you just copy 1 copy of
the file to toss to the outbound dir OR do you simply transfer it from
the file area path and not copy it when the TIC file is created?

    TIA
    -Nugax

I didn't write the TIC processor for Synchronet, Deuce did. Here's the source: https://gitlab.synchro.net/main/sbbs/-/blob/master/exec/tickit.js

I presume it copies the file to the outbound dir.

I was wondering if you could answer a quick question about your
    tosser.

sbbsecho is for mail, not files... tickit comes with sbbs and handles
tossing of files in FDNs... deuce wrote it and i modified it to work
for file distribution hubs... it was originally written mostly for
    leaf systems...

When you toss a tic file to multiple downlinks, do you just copy
1 copy of the file to toss to the outbound dir OR do you simply
transfer it from the file area path and not copy it when the TIC
    file is created?

when a tic arrives, it is processed and the accompanying file is
placed into the designated file directory... if it is to be sent on
to other systems, the file, itself, is sent from the file
directory... this avoids copying it and having to decide when to
delete it if it is to be sent to multiple systems... the .tic files,
on the other hand, are created in and sent from the outbound
    directory...

here's a log file snip showing my mailer sending pkts, tic, and file...

you can easily see the file ap240705.zip is sent from my NASA FDN
