    Hi ...

Color me confused, How does the "pointnet" verb work?

    My main address is 1:342/77, and I have a uucp gateway at 1:342/77.10, I'm using Squish/386 v1.11, UUCP softwear is SoupGate-Win32 v1.105.

I just have my main address 1:342/77 in squish.cfg. All is fine, all echo areas are configured with their proper uplink/downlinks. Everything is working this way. Netmail/Email Fidonet Echos/Newsgroups toss fine.

Iirc you don't need the pointnet verb for squish unless you're running a fakenet for your points. I used to have a ton of points, have a few now though most are administrative for robot functions etc. these days. I've never used the pointnet config verb.
NOw I did use the binkpoint config keyword to enable binkleyterm style 4d point
    directory support.

    From the squish docs:

    PointNet <net>

PointNet specifies the "fakenet" number to use for non-4D
points. The fakenet point scheme was designed to work with
systems which were unable to support true points, such as
    BinkleyTerm 2.40 and lower.

iF you're not running fakenet, no need <g>.

    Regards,
    Richard

Got it Bro... thanks. Like I was saying Squish is tossing fine to both my Fidonet echoes and the Internet Gateway with both areas set with the proper addressing.
