Your message Dated 09-28-17 came in a .QWK packet I grabbed from the
BBS on 10-17-17 at 3:04 PM EDT.

That is a long time for a message to wander through Fido's Network
before getting to where I could see it.

I saw Your message just after I grabbed the .QWK packet but got
confused about the Date it was sent and about the Date that You saw
and wrote about.

In the mean time, while I was trying to think of how to write my Reply
to You, I noticed Mike Powell (This BBS's SysOp) and Paul Quinn have
already commented about Your message.

Here is what I found:

On 4-15-17, at 20:36 hours You wrote a Reply to a message that I wrote
with the Subject: New HDD for XP pc.

I (finally) found it by using MultiMail's Search Option and doing a
Full Text search for the Phrase - summer wheels.

I know that MultiMail includes a Color File that You Created, so You
probably have used MM's Search Option to Hunt for something, somewhere,
that You remember seeing in a message but can't remember which Packet
it came in.

In case You haven't used the Search Option, let me bore You a bit and
write what I learned. (maybe someone else didn't know about this???).

MM's Search will look through all of the .QWK files shown in MM DOS's
Opening Screen.
(MM's WIN version should probably have this Search Option too.)

Pressing the Slant Sign Key - [ / ] - starts the Option.

Next several types of Searches are offered, I selected - Full Text .

Then I Entered what I was Searching for, and pressed the Enter Key to
start the Search.

MultiMail looks through all of the .QWK files that are in the List.

It (MM) Stops looking and shows the first results of the Search when it
finds the Text I entered.

To continue Searching to see if any other Results show up, just press
the Period Key - [ . ] and the Search will continue to the last File
in MM's List.

It was just recently that I tried out MM's Search feature, and it blew
my mind when I saw how Quickly it looked through all of the .QWK Packet
files in the List.

On sunday I got the studded wheels on the car aided by my son. My hip is
not fully recovered yet but still improving, although a surgeon told me
in august, not to expect any more improvement. I'm deluding him <BG>.

In short: just the top line of data on the top table is the very latest available sensor readings.

The URL is now bookmarked so it's easy to jump in.

I do it often from my mobile phone. (It uses my own LAN<-->wifi trasmitter.) Maybe 6-8 times during the day. That and the 'live' rain radar, if there are storms in the vacinity. :)

We have lately had the "other day" weather. That means the today it will
not rain. Yesterday it did and tomorrow it will rain again.

I'm happy that I have a keep-fit bike indoors. Even days when I have had
a long 'scandinavian pole' walk, I use it once in the evening.

Rainy days I pedal on it three times a day, just to keep the joints and
muscles fit.

Yes, they are beautiful but we don't have them here around the arctic

They are really not liked here. They tend to eat all the salmon and
other fish from the fishermens nets, and also free swimming fish.

Mine is an old Nokia E71, mate. The battery constantly fails if I try to take voice calls. All the while it will run any SMS texting, minor web trawling (usually Google or weather searches), checking out pictures or the odd small MP3 sound file downloaded via USB, and, just needs recharging at the end of the
day.

But I have to stop using it because all my complaining caused my eldest daughter to buy me a new Android replacement. I keep putting off 'activating' the new one because I like the Nokia so much. Sob, sob... ;-)

since XPpro but after a Christmas gift from my eldest GS of a laptop
with Windows 10, I have accepted that version.

I see that I explained my phone's evolution badly. The "Android replacement" is the new phone. It's a fancy all singing-all dancing GUI-driven phone, for people gifted with tiny fingers. I haven't initialized it on the 4G network yet. That's what I meant by "activating", which is a term unfortunately M$ also uses for its Windows products.

I'm still using the Nokia. But it may get turned off permanently on 1/1/18...

My son lent me a more modern Nokia version, but I didn't like it because
the texts were so tiny that I would have had to wear reading glasses all
the time.

I haven't initialized it on the 4G network yet. That's what I meant

My stationary Win10 machine just got itself upgraded to the latest
update. Lots of additional stuff to the previously installed functions
and a lot of new functions.

I'm still using the Nokia. But it may get turned off permanently on 1/1/18...

Mine will not be turned off.
