I've let this slip for a couple of days, Holger. Just to allow for a delay in re-transmission through the various link systems...

Nothing seen here from you, or to Jean in netmail. :(

    Cheers,
    Paul.

... I love the smell of Echomail in the morning.

Ok, it was a poke with a stick to see if there was any Jean Parrot at 3:640/384, <BG>.

    There wasn't of course!

    So do I.

There is. The news server that Jean uses works just like a BBS... well, nearly. There is a user called Jean Parrot here, even for netmail. He doesn't
yet know how to use it as I have not schooled him in its use.

All other things being equal, it should have worked.

    Cheers,
    Paul.

Apologies, Holger. I misspoke. I did mean that to mean Jean is a user of my main system.

Jean is unknown on -this- node.

    Cheers,
    Paul.

OK, so you just have to start your career as a teacher for Jean ;o)

All other things being equal, it should have worked.

At the moment in question, they weren't equal though.

    Have a nice evening,

Damned right. As I age, I seem to have more 'blonde moments' every day. :)

Apparently I'm getting senile, because I haven't noticed "those moments"
