Thanks for reading.
I have a Epson NX430 all in one printer/scanner.
The NX430 Manual doesn't have any information about replacing the
Document Cover.

I had a quick sticky-beak at Uncle Google & YT. It's general layout is similar to my Canon MX320. You're lucky though, as the top cover on
the Canon has the 'front panel electronic doo-hickeys embedded in it - it's a heavy sucker to lift gently.
The NX430 Manual doesn't have any information about replacing the

I didn't see anything on-line either but I'm thinking: think back to
when you whipped the cover off... did you maybe do it at a low angle? Maybe it fits in/on at a slight angle or within a certain allowable
range. Do you remember how you did it on the day? Might help...?

A long tme ago I raised the Document Cover to Scan something and the
Cover came off of the unit.
Both Hinges have pins on both ends of them.
Haste makes waste. But of course, I haven't hurried doing that job.
As Bugs Bunny (I think) said: "Be very very careful".
Or was that Daffy Duck saying that? HUMMMM?

You may not find replacement hinges or parts easily for these
all-in-one printers. These printers are made so cheaply that you may
find its better just to find a replacement NX430 on Ebay if you really like that printer model.
I see a complete NX430 going for roughly $70cdn plus shipping.

I had a thought this afternoon: start inserting with the other end.
The end you've connected might be engineered to fit after the other
end. Mmm...?

I believe it was usually Elmer Fudd, as in "Be very, very quiet... I'm hunting wabbit." :)
I have tried several different angles to get it back in correctly but still fail.
I guess I just haven't held my mouth right (as a Pool Player does) to
do the job correctly.

Is that the really old dot matrix printer? The last time I used one was back in 1990. .
