  • Android Tablet Question

    Howdy!,

    So far the info I've found about Chromebook computers has made me decide
    to forget buying a Chromebook because I "think" any personal information
    I would enter in one of them would be "In The Cloud" instead of just inside
    the Chromebook.

    I am now wondering if Android Tablets Saves what I would enter in it
    "In The Cloud" or it is kept inside of the Tablet.

    The Apple Tablet (iPad) costs much more so I wouldn't want to go that route, and I don't know if those things keep things entered in/on it inside of
    them or if Apple Tablets sends everything to the "Cloud".

    I don't want my personal information sent out of any Tablet unless I wanted
    to include it in a Email that "I send".

    I don't know much about Chromebooks or Tablets so thought I'd ask here
    to learn of others experience.

    That's true. Cloud integration is part of the selling point.

    It depends. Android tablets out of the box integrate with Google for
    backup, storage, app stores, etc.

    I don't want my personal information sent out of any Tablet unless I wanted to include it in a Email that "I send".

    I'd think your best bet would be a cheap laptop running Linux, if
    you're adventurous. Windows, too - if you turn off all of the
    marketing/data options and Cortana when you install it. Just don't
    use any of the cloud services and store your data locally on the
    laptop.
