it seems microsoft is making windows 32 bit unsustainable
where they drive us to the 64 bit version. I am wondering
if there is any good low memory friendly web browsers
aside from using a text browser.

Is there a links2 version for Windows? I use it on a linux machine. There are some things it does not handle well, but it will render more than just text.
32-bit will be a problem in 2038. MS has not purposely planned itWe'll likely need 64 bit OS2 :)
that way. It will affect all 32-bit OSes. I don't expect to have
any 32-bit pcs operating at that time. But it may affect the folks
who engage in retro/vintage computing.
