    Hello, Bob.

23 Nov 06 08:40, you wrote to me:

Okay, thanks. It'd disappeared from the elist and I'd relisted it myself.

I, personally, could care less what the elist says. It's full of
errors, and the keeper is well known to play silly games with it.

The robot only responds to the recognized moderator, and if there's no verification available it cannot do anything. If I have to step in and take manual control, it's so much easier to simply stop transporting an echo rather than try to play echo-cop with the participants.

Then how about adding an RENEGADE_BBS echo back in ... I've been jumping thru hoops for months to get the echo back online without any success. Best I was told is to start it locally (1:129/*) .... then it will down feed or upfeed as the case may be.

Since I am still activily supporting and updating Renegade BBS would be nice to have a Fidonet feed as well as my own message network for the home of RG.

Netmail me @ 1:129/305 if you have any good ideas? Or telnet over ttb.slyip.com if you wanna remember the old days of BBSing. ;)

btw, it all works better if you use your real name in the echo.

Follow the instructions that go out whenever BACKSTAT.NA is issued. Everything is automated.

I know ... the BS here didn't require a user name and didn't allow me to add one, so I had to email the sysop to put my user name in the user editor. Told him it was hard to post in fidonet as "no user" ... ;)

#1, please use your nodlisted real name, there is nobody in the nodelist called
    "No User"

The robot only responds to the recognized moderator, and if
    there's n
verification available it cannot do anything. If I have to step in and
    tak

hoops for months to get the echo back online without any success. Best

All you have to do is the same as everyone else, elist the echo, then (using your nodelisted name) properly request to the NAB Robot that the echo be
carried, quoting the ack message from the elist robot.

It's extremely simple and easy to do. If you still don't understand, as your RC or REC for assistance.

See above. And btw, this is the LAST time I will bother responding to "No User".
