It's most likely getting through my Synchronet system because the only difference in the entire message is in the PATH line. I don't think Synchronet's dupe checking is nearly as good. :)
That is true, Mystic (in more recent versions) does not factor in the PATH line. It looks at date, time, from, to, subject, echotag, and msg text minus kludge and seen-by text. If those appear to be the same, its a dupe.
I found this to be the best method after trying a few other ways first,
because it gives good results in exactly this situation when other tossers do not catch it!
I still haven't had a single dupe make it though here. Looks like a total of 78 dupes were sent to me though, according to logging.
